What’s Included in Every Gutter Cleaning
- Gutters cleaned by hand. Leaves, oak debris, pine needles and roof grit come out of every run.
- Downspouts flushed. We run water through each downspout so it drains, not just the gutter above it.
- Debris hauled away. We bag it and take it with us. Nothing left in your beds or on your driveway.
- Before-and-after photos. You see what was in your gutters and what they look like when we leave, even if you weren’t home.
- A quick inspection. While we’re up there we check for sags, loose hangers, leaking seams and downspout problems, and we tell you what we found. No pressure to fix anything.
We Clean Gutters With Any Brand of Guard
Guards keep most debris out, but no guard is maintenance-free forever. Fine grit, pollen and small debris can build up on top of or under mesh over time. We clean gutters with guards from any company, not just ours: we lift or work around the guard, clean the gutter underneath, flush the downspouts and reset the guard.
If your guards came from another company and they’re not doing their job, we’ll show you what’s going on in the photos and give you an honest answer on whether a cleaning will fix it.

Do you clean gutters that already have gutter guards? Yes. We clean gutters with any brand of guard, not just ours. We clean underneath the guard, flush the downspouts and reset the guard.
What’s included in a gutter cleaning visit? Cleaning every gutter, flushing the downspouts, hauling all debris away, before-and-after photos, and an inspection for sags, loose hangers, leaking seams and downspout problems.
How much does gutter cleaning cost? It depends on the size and height of your home and how many gutters and downspouts it has. Call (813) 812-4352 or request a free quote.
Can clogged gutters breed mosquitoes? Yes. The University of Florida’s Florida Medical Entomology Lab (UF/IFAS) lists plugged roof gutters as a common mosquito breeding site and recommends keeping gutters clean. UF/IFAS Extension notes it can take as little as a bottle cap’s worth of water.
Why does a sagging gutter matter? A sag creates a low spot, and water that can’t reach the downspout can sit right there. Home-improvement guidance, such as This Old House, recommends about 1/4 inch of slope per 10 feet so water flows to the downspout. We check for sags on every cleaning.
Does the Florida sun affect gutters? Yes. Years of strong sun fade painted finishes and leave a dull, chalky look. That’s cosmetic on its own, but it’s a good moment to have the rest of the system checked.
How often should I have my gutters cleaned? We recommend a cleaning twice a year for most Tampa Bay homes.
