Do motorized screens keep bugs out? Yes, with insect mesh. The screen runs in sealed side tracks and seals against the floor, so there is no gap for mosquitoes and no-see-ums.
Can they handle Florida wind? Screens are meant to be retracted in storms. The side-track design handles everyday breezes well, and an optional wind sensor can retract the screen automatically when gusts pick up.
Do I need an electrician? The motor needs power. Where an outlet is already nearby we handle the connection as part of the install; where new wiring is required we coordinate it so you have one point of contact.
Can I control them from my phone? Yes. App control and integration with common smart-home systems are available options.
How wide can one screen be? Single screens cover most lanai and garage openings. For very wide spans we use multiple screens with a shared control so they move together.
