Screen and Enclosure Services
- Panel rescreening. Replace one torn panel or rescreen the entire cage, with the spline and screen mesh matched to the rest of the enclosure.
- Full enclosure rescreens. When screens are sun-faded, brittle and tearing in more than one place, a full rescreen is usually the better value.
- Screen door repair. Hinges, closers, latches, handles, kick plates and door screens, or a full door replacement.
- Frame and hardware repair. Loose or corroded fasteners, bent or separated frame members, and re-anchoring to the super gutter or deck.
- Florida Glass privacy panels. Vinyl-laminated screen that blocks the view in, cuts wind and blowing debris, and keeps airflow.
- Pet and no-see-um screen. Heavier pet-resistant mesh for lower panels and tighter mesh where tiny insects are a problem.
- Storm damage repair. Rescreening and frame repair after wind and hurricane damage.

Why Enclosure Screens Fail in Florida
- UV exposure. Years of direct sun make fiberglass screen brittle, and it tears at the first branch or ladder.
- Wind. Summer storms flex the panels and pull the spline loose. One loose corner becomes a flapping, ripped panel fast.
- Corrosion. Steel screws and fasteners rust, especially near the coast, and stain the frame and deck.
- Debris load. Leaves and pine needles that collect on the roof panels add weight and hold moisture against the frame.
- Gutter problems. A failing super gutter lets the house side of the cage sag, pulling screens out of their channels.
Repair or Replace the Whole Enclosure?
Most of the time the aluminum frame has plenty of life left and a rescreen plus hardware repair brings the cage back. We’ll give you an honest answer on-site. If the frame is structurally compromised we will tell you, and we won’t sell you a rescreen on a cage that needs more than that.

Screen Repair FAQ
Can you replace just one screen panel? Yes. Single-panel repairs are common. We match the mesh type and color so the new panel blends in.
What is Florida Glass? A privacy screen material with a vinyl laminate. It looks like frosted glass from a distance, blocks the view into the lanai, reduces wind and debris, and still lets air move.
What screen mesh do you use? Standard 18/14 fiberglass for most panels, 20/20 no-see-um mesh where tiny insects are a problem, and heavier pet screen on lower panels where dogs and cats push through.
Do you fix screen doors? Yes. Hinges, spring closers, latches, handles and the door screen itself, or a full door replacement if the frame is bent.
Can you repair my cage after a storm? Yes. We rescreen panels, replace damaged frame members and hardware, and re-secure the enclosure to the house and deck. We’ll document the damage with photos if you need them for an insurance claim.
